Azuki to Launch $ANIME Culture Coin on Ethereum and Arbitrum with 75% Community Allocation
Jan 13, 2025, 12:04 AM
Azuki, the anime-inspired NFT project, announced the upcoming launch of its "culture coin," $ANIME, set to debut in January 2025 on Ethereum and Arbitrum networks. The tokenomics reveal that over 75% of $ANIME will be allocated to the community, with 50.5% going directly to the community and 37.5% unlocked at the token generation event (TGE) for Azuki NFT ecosystem holders. Partner communities, including Hyperliquid stakers, KaitoAI users, and Arbitrum communities, will also receive allocations. The high community allocation is possible because Azuki did not raise funds from venture capital firms. The announcement has generated significant interest, with Azuki's floor price reaching 14 ETH and over 1,206 ETH worth of Azuki NFTs purchased in the last hour, totaling more than $3.4 million.
