On July 17, the Israeli Knesset has passed a historic resolution opposing the establishment of a Palestinian state west of the Jordan River. The resolution was approved with 68 members, including Benny Gantz and his party, voting in favor, and only 9 members voting against. This marks the first time in history that the Knesset has passed such a resolution. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was notably absent from the vote. The decision comes just days before the Prime Minister's scheduled trip to the United States.
