Former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Architect of Economic Reforms, Dies at 92

Former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has passed away at the age of 92 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. Singh was admitted to AIIMS earlier today around 8 pm after experiencing breathing difficulties. The hospital confirmed his death in a statement, noting that he was administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) upon arrival but could not be revived. Known as the architect of India's economic reforms in the 1990s, Singh, who served as the 14th Prime Minister of India, played a pivotal role in liberalizing the country's economy. Current Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed condolences over Singh's death.
