Russian Sukhoi Superjet 100 Crashes Near Moscow During Test Flight, Killing All Crew Members

A Russian passenger plane, the Sukhoi Superjet 100, crashed near Kolomna in the Moscow region on Friday. The aircraft, a regional airliner operated by Gazpromavia airlines, was on a test flight after repairs and had taken off from the factory in Lukhovitsy, heading to Vnukovo Airport. All three crew members on board, who were pilots, were killed. The crash occurred 65 miles southeast of Moscow. The crew reportedly sounded an alarm before the crash. Russian state news agency TASS confirmed the incident, citing Russian emergency services.
