Hailo, the designer of edge artificial intelligence (AI) processors, has announced a partnership with Raspberry Pi to integrate its AI accelerators into the new Raspberry Pi 5. The collaboration has led to the unveiling of the Raspberry Pi AI Kit, which includes the Hailo-8L M.2 accelerator and is priced at $70. This new kit aims to enhance the AI capabilities of the Raspberry Pi 5, making it a more powerful tool for tech hobbyists and industrial applications. The AI Kit, an extension add-on, was unveiled at Computex and is expected to be available soon.
