Sep 1, 2024, 04:24 AM
Ukrainian drones have launched a series of successful strikes on key energy infrastructure in Russia, targeting the Konakovo Power Station, Kashira Thermal Power Plant, the Moscow Oil Refinery, and the Volodarskaya fuel depot. The Konakovo Power Station, Russia's 8th largest thermal powerplant located in the Tver region, was hit and is currently engulfed in smoke and flames. The Kashira Thermal Power Plant, situated 66 miles south of the Kremlin, was also struck and has been burning for several hours. Additionally, the Moscow Oil Refinery, located just 15 km from the Kremlin, sustained a direct hit. These attacks have resulted in significant fires and damage to the facilities. Russian sources report that they have shot down some drones targeting these sites.
