Slovenia Issues EU's First €30M Sovereign Digital Bond with 3.65% Coupon

Slovenia has become the first European Union member state to issue a sovereign digital bond. The bond, settled on-chain via the Bank of France and launched in collaboration with BNP Paribas, marks a significant milestone in the EU's financial history. The bond is valued at €30 million, carries a 3.65% coupon, and will mature on November 25. This initiative is part of the European Central Bank's new era of digital money settlements.
