On January 10, 2025, the U.S. marked the one-year anniversary of the approval of spot Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) by the SEC. This approval has led to the most successful ETF launch in history, with the funds now holding approximately 1,136,415 Bitcoin, valued at $109.7 billion. The price of Bitcoin has increased significantly over the past year, rising from $43,700 at the time of the ETF launch to $93,000 today, representing a 110% increase. The ETFs were officially approved on January 10, 2024, and have since garnered substantial interest and investment in the cryptocurrency market.
