Israel Intensifies Operations in Northern Gaza Amid Ethnic Cleansing Accusations, IDF and Netanyahu Involved
Nov 10, 2024, 09:55 AM
Israel has intensified its operations in northern Gaza, leading to accusations of ethnic cleansing. According to a media briefing by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Tuesday, there is no intention of allowing residents of the northern Gaza Strip to return to their homes. Haaretz reported that these actions are ordered by Prime Minister Netanyahu and his security minister. The commander of the 162nd Division in the army admitted to carrying out operations to 'cleanse' Palestinians from northern Gaza, with orders reportedly coming from Chief of Staff Halevi and the commander of the Southern Command. Brig. Gen. Itzik Cohen, commander of the 162nd Division, confirmed the orders to 'create a cleansed space' in northern Gaza.
