Syrian journalist and TV presenter Safaa Ahmed was killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Mazzeh Villas neighborhood in the capital, Damascus. The General Directorate of Radio and Television of the Syrian regime confirmed her death. Reports indicate that the airstrike occurred shortly after she finished a live broadcast reporting on Israeli bombings in Syria and Lebanon. Syrian state media also reported that air defenses engaged at least three waves of Israeli strikes.
