Apple Announces visionOS 2 for Vision Pro with New Features, Available Internationally June 28 and July 12

Apple has announced visionOS 2, the latest update for its Vision Pro headset, at the WWDC 2024. The update includes several new features such as the ability to create spatial photos from regular 2D photos, improved productivity with new hand gestures, Travel Mode with train support, and an ultra-wide Mac virtual display. Additionally, the Vision Pro will support over 2,000 apps. The Vision Pro will be available in eight new countries. Customers in China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore can pre-order the device starting June 13, with availability on June 28. The product will also launch in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the UK on July 12.
