France Completes Six-Month Training of Ukrainian Pilots on Alphajet Aircraft for F-16 Transition

France has completed the training of the first group of Ukrainian pilots on Alphajet aircraft. The training, which began in March 2024, was conducted by the French Air Force to meet an operational need for Ukraine's Defense Ministry. The six-month course, acknowledged by the Command of Operations of the French Armed Forces and the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces, aimed to prepare the pilots to eventually fly F-16 fighter jets. This initiative is part of France's ongoing support for Ukraine's war effort.
