Iran's Supreme Leader Orders Military, Ballistic Missiles to Prepare for Attack on Israel

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has instructed the Supreme National Security Council to prepare for an attack on Israel, according to multiple Iranian officials and reports from the New York Times. Khamenei's directive comes in response to recent Israeli attacks and the high number of casualties, which he deemed too significant to overlook. Additionally, there has been movement of ballistic missiles, including Sejjil, Fattah-1, and Shahab-3A/B launchers, within Iran, indicating preparations for a potential retaliatory strike. Military commanders are reportedly compiling a list of dozens of military targets inside Israel, with the attack likely to occur after the US presidential election. Khamenei also called for a global military coalition against Israel. A top commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps stated that Iran's response would likely occur in the coming days.
