Canary Capital Files for Spot XRP ETF with SEC
Oct 8, 2024, 08:54 PM
Canary Capital has officially filed an S-1 form with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a new spot XRP Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) under the Securities Act of 1933. This marks the second filing for an XRP ETF, following Bitwise's earlier submission. Canary Capital, a new crypto investment firm launched by Valkyrie Funds founder Steven McClurg, aims to capitalize on a more progressive regulatory environment and growing interest in cryptocurrency investments.
