Apple has unveiled the seventh-generation iPad mini, powered by the A17 Pro chip and built for Apple Intelligence capabilities. The updated tablet supports Apple Pencil Pro and introduces an 'Image Wand' tool in the Apple Pencil palette that transforms rough sketches into polished images. It offers enhanced performance with Wi-Fi 6E, 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.3, and Smart HDR 4. The base storage has been doubled to 128GB, with the device starting at $499. Pre-orders are available now, with shipping beginning on October 23. The new iPad mini comes in new purple and blue colors, alongside starlight and space gray. Cellular models now utilize eSIM technology.
