The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded $27 million to establish a new network of genomics-enabled learning health systems (gLHS). The network will consist of six sites, each proposing projects that use patient data to develop and refine aspects of genomic medicine. These projects will focus on implementing testing for hereditary diseases and selecting therapies based on genomic information.
