Authorities Kill 16-Foot Crocodile Responsible for Third Fatal Attack in Australia
Aug 5, 2024, 02:49 PM
Authorities in Australia have killed a large 16-foot crocodile believed to be responsible for the country's second fatal attack in a month. The latest victim was a man who fell into a river while fishing on Saturday during a vacation with his wife and children. The incident occurred near Cooktown in far north Queensland. This follows another fatal attack earlier in the month, prompting MP Bob Katter to call for a cull of the deadly reptiles. This marks the third fatal attack of the year.
