VisitGrammy Awards to Move from CBS to Disney in 2027 Under 10-Year, $500 Million Deal
Oct 30, 2024, 07:40 PM
The Grammy Awards will move from CBS to Disney starting in 2027 under a new 10-year deal. This marks the first change in the broadcast home for the music awards in over 50 years. The deal, valued at well over $500 million, will see the Grammys being simulcast on ABC, Hulu, and Disney+. CBS, which has aired the Grammys since 1973, allowed its exclusive negotiating window to lapse, leading to Disney securing the rights. The current CBS pact will top out at $50 million for the 2026 Grammy broadcast. The new agreement will extend through 2036.
