Maryland State Police and multiple agencies are responding to a small plane crash in the Tred Avon River in Easton, Maryland. The crash occurred just before 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning in the 6800 block of Travelers Rest Circle. Emergency rescue crews, including the U.S. Coast Guard, Talbot County Sheriff's Office, and Talbot County Fire/EMS, are on the scene. The plane reportedly crashed into the water following an engine failure. Chopper4 video shows a police helicopter and rescue boats at the crash site.
