Dec 13, 2024, 10:42 PM
Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss revealed that he has been battling bile duct cancer and recently underwent surgery. In an Instagram Live broadcast on Friday, Moss, walking with the help of a cane, announced that he spent six days in a Charlotte hospital and is now calling himself a 'cancer survivor'. 'We made it through,' Moss said during the livestream. The 47-year-old former wide receiver explained that doctors discovered cancerous cells outside his bile duct, located between his liver and pancreas. He noted that he underwent a six-hour surgery and will now begin chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Moss, who has been on leave from his role as an ESPN analyst due to the health condition, expressed gratitude for the support from fans and loved ones. His son, Thaddeus Moss, had previously refuted reports regarding his father's health issues. Colleagues and former teammates have offered their support. On social media, Moss declared, 'LET'S MOSS CANCER,' rallying support from fans.
