Former Revolut executives have successfully raised $2.3 million in pre-seed funding to launch Bleap, a blockchain-based banking application. The funding round was led by Ethereal Ventures. Bleap aims to provide a self-custodial payments app that allows users to spend stablecoins, specifically USDC, with no associated fees. The application also offers linked debit cards and the potential for annual percentage yields (APYs) of up to 13.2%. Currently in beta testing, Bleap is set to officially launch in the first quarter of 2025, featuring cloud-backed wallets that eliminate the need for traditional seed phrases.
