Tesla Nears Completion of 500MW Supercomputer Cluster at Giga Texas for FSD
Jul 5, 2024, 03:52 AM
Tesla is in the final stages of constructing a supercomputer cluster at its Giga Texas facility. Elon Musk announced that the cluster, which will support the exponential growth of Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology, is expected to be operational within a few months. The supercomputer cluster will be powered by a system of up to 500MW and will host AI training hardware, including Nvidia H100s, Tesla HW4, AI5, and Dojo. Crews have been busy installing heavy electrical cables and laying conduit to support the new infrastructure, including at the NE corner of Casting. The construction also includes a supercomputer cooling plant.
