Brooklyn Judge Orders Martin Shkreli to Surrender Wu-Tang Album Copies by Friday
Aug 26, 2024, 10:08 PM
A federal judge in Brooklyn has ordered Martin Shkreli, the former pharmaceutical executive known as 'Pharma Bro', to surrender all copies of the rare Wu-Tang Clan album, 'Once Upon a Time in Shaolin', by Friday. This ruling comes amid a legal dispute with PleasrDAO, a cryptocurrency collective that purchased the sole known copy of the album for $4.75 million. Shkreli originally acquired the album in 2015 for $2 million. The judge's decision aims to prevent Shkreli from streaming or disseminating copies of the unique album, which he forfeited in 2017.
