Ukrainian authorities indicated that the missile, which was part of a larger attack involving over 70 ballistic and cruise missiles, traveled approximately 140 kilometers through Moldova and briefly violated Romanian airspace. Moldovan President Maia Sandu confirmed the missile's incursion into her country's airspace, while Romanian officials stated that they had not detected any missiles or drones. The Romanian Ministry of National Defense (MApN) has not confirmed the missile's passage through Romanian airspace. The missile ultimately fell in Ukraine's Chernivtsi region, marking a continuation of hostilities in the ongoing conflict.
