Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Sex Trafficking and Racketeering Trial Set for May 2025
Oct 11, 2024, 01:00 AM
A US judge has set a trial date of May 5, 2025, for hip-hop mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs to face federal sex trafficking, racketeering, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution charges. Combs, who has pleaded not guilty, made his first appearance before the trial judge in Manhattan federal court on Thursday. His defense team has raised concerns about alleged leaks of evidence by government agents, including a hotel surveillance video of Combs allegedly beating Cassie Ventura. Combs' appeal to overrule previous bail denials has also been filed. Prosecutors have hinted at the possibility of additional charges being brought against Combs.
