Google Rolls Out AI-Powered Ask Photos with Gemini AI in U.S.
Sep 5, 2024, 04:52 PM
Google has started the U.S. rollout of its AI-powered Ask Photos feature in Google Photos. First announced at Google’s I/O developer conference in May, Ask Photos allows users to find photos using complex queries. This new feature aims to enhance the search capabilities within Google Photos, making it easier for users to locate specific images. Additionally, Google Photos has introduced a 'classic search' with natural language lookup and a 'Best match' feature, further improving the user experience. The rollout also includes a Gemini AI feature that simplifies searching and users can join a waitlist to access Ask Photos.
