Wimbledon 2024 Prize Money Reaches Record £50 Million, Up 11.9% to $64 Million

Wimbledon has announced that the prize money for the 2024 Championships will reach a record £50 million, marking an 11.9% increase from the previous year. Singles champions will receive £2.7 million each ($3.45 million), a 14.9% increase, while first-round losers will be awarded £60,000. The total prize money in USD is approximately $64 million. Additionally, the total wheelchair prize money has been set at £1 million. Runners-up in the singles categories will receive $1.79 million. The announcement was made by All England Club officials at the annual spring briefing.
