Microsoft to Launch Ten Autonomous AI Agents via Copilot Studio in November
Oct 21, 2024, 11:10 AM
Microsoft announced that starting in November, businesses will be able to build and manage autonomous AI agents using its Copilot Studio, making it the first major AI company to release such agents. These agents, acting as virtual workers, can perform routine tasks with minimal human intervention, such as handling client inquiries, sales, lead generation, and customer support, potentially saving businesses up to $50 million annually. The company is introducing ten ready-for-use autonomous agents in Dynamics 365 and has added new capabilities to Copilot Studio, including autonomous triggers, dynamic plan creation, and an "Activity" tab for tracking agent runs. The AI agents leverage several models developed in-house and by OpenAI.
