U.S. and U.K. Strike Houthi Missile Sites and Depot in Yemen's At-Tuhayta District
Dec 30, 2024, 11:00 PM
The United States and the United Kingdom conducted two airstrikes targeting Houthi positions in the At-Tuhayta District, south of Hodeidah, Yemen. The strikes were aimed at Houthi missile launch sites and a weapons depot, according to various reports. In response, the Houthis launched three missiles toward the sea from the same region. The Houthis have escalated their operations, stating that their military actions will continue until the aggression against Gaza ceases. They also claimed to have successfully targeted Ben Gurion Airport and a power plant south of Jerusalem with ballistic missiles, and simultaneously conducted an operation against the USS Harry Truman aircraft carrier in the Red Sea, thwarting a planned large-scale American aerial attack on Yemen.
