Azam Khan Sentenced to 10 Years in 2016 Dungarpur Forced Eviction Case, ₹14 Lakh Fine

Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan has been sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment by the MP-MLA court in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, in connection with the 2016 forced eviction case in Dungarpur. The court also imposed a fine of ₹14 lakh on Khan. The conviction is related to an incident where Khan forcibly vacated a house and beat the owner. This is the eighth verdict against Khan, who still faces 84 other cases under trial. District government advocate Seema Singh Rana confirmed the sentence on May 30.
