The Taliban has confirmed its participation in the upcoming Doha III meeting on Afghanistan, scheduled for June 30. Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban's spokesman, announced that a delegation from the interim government will attend the event, emphasizing that their participation aligns with Afghanistan's interests. However, the agenda for the meeting is still under review and currently does not include human rights issues. Women activists have criticized the Taliban’s participation and called for a boycott. The announcement was made 15 days before the event, as reported by TOLO News.
