Blackstone is set to sweeten its offer for Hipgnosis Songs Fund as part of a revised bid, according to reports from the Financial Times. On Monday, the private equity giant raised its offer by a cent to $1.31 per share, valuing the music rights owner at $1.58 billion. Hipgnosis Songs, which owns the music rights of artists such as Shakira and Red Hot Chili Peppers, has agreed to the improved takeover bid.
