Three Teens Arrested Wednesday Night for Vandalizing Spokane Pride Mural
Jun 10, 2024, 11:29 AM
Three teenagers in Spokane, Washington, were arrested and charged with first-degree malicious mischief, a Class B felony, after leaving scooter marks on a freshly repainted LGBTQ+ Pride mural on Wednesday night. The incident occurred just hours after the mural was repainted. The teens, including 19-year-old Ruslan Turko and two unnamed minors, face charges that could result in significant penalties. Prosecutors have requested a $15,000 bond for the accused. In response to the incident, Lime has implemented a 'no go zone' around the mural to prevent further damage from scooters.
