FBI Releases New Footage of Unidentified 5'7" Suspect in 2021 DNC and RNC Pipe Bombings
Jan 2, 2025, 11:58 PM
The FBI has released new video footage of the suspect who planted pipe bombs outside the Democratic National Committee and Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington, D.C., on January 5, 2021, the night before the Capitol attack. The suspect remains unidentified and at large. The new footage shows the individual placing one of the bombs near the DNC headquarters. The FBI estimates the suspect is approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and was wearing Nike Air Max Speed Turf shoes. Despite receiving hundreds of tips and conducting numerous interviews, the agency has not identified the suspect. The release comes nearly four years after the incident, following criticism of the FBI's failure to solve the case by a GOP-led congressional investigation. The FBI is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect.
