Pennsylvania State Capitol in Harrisburg Evacuated After Bomb Threat Demanding Biden Denounce Israel
Jul 7, 2024, 03:09 AM
The Pennsylvania State Capitol in Harrisburg was evacuated on Saturday after PA Senators and Representatives received an email titled 'My Manifesto' threatening to detonate explosives unless President Biden publicly denounces Israel. The email, sent by an individual claiming to act 'in the name of Palestine,' led to the evacuation of more than 250 people from the Capitol complex. Capitol Police conducted a K9 search of the building but did not find any explosives. The threat mentioned 'highly lethal lead azide devices' and prompted immediate action from authorities to ensure safety.
