TMC Rajya Sabha MP Sukhendu Sekhar Roy Seeks High Court Protection Amid Kolkata Doctor Death Case

Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Sukhendu Sekhar Roy is facing legal challenges after being summoned by the Kolkata Police for allegedly spreading factually incorrect information related to the Kolkata Doctor Death case. In response, Roy has moved the Calcutta High Court seeking protection from arrest and relief from any coercive action by the police. The police have issued three notices to him, following his demand for a custodial interrogation of the Kolkata Police Commissioner by the CBI.
