Stephen Miller, an 85-year-old former doctor from Tucson, Arizona, has pleaded guilty to manslaughter for his involvement in the suicide of a woman in an upstate New York motel room. The incident occurred last year in Kingston, New York. Miller was charged earlier this year under a provision of New York law that allows for second-degree manslaughter charges for intentionally causing or aiding another person’s suicide. Under a plea agreement, Miller will be spared from prison. The plea was entered on Tuesday.
