Mohamed Noor Iidow Found Guilty of Rape and Manslaughter of NHS Worker, 37, Natalie Shotter
Oct 18, 2024, 03:48 PM
A 35-year-old man, Mohamed Noor Iidow from Hounslow, has been found guilty of the rape and manslaughter of 37-year-old NHS worker and mother-of-three, Natalie Shotter. The verdict was delivered at the Old Bailey following a three-week trial concluding on October 18. Iidow attacked Ms. Shotter while she was unconscious on a park bench in Southall Park, west London, on July 16, 2021. Her body was discovered by a member of the public, leading to an investigation that culminated in Iidow's arrest and conviction. The court heard that Iidow had been prowling the park looking for women to assault, and that the attack was so violent that Ms. Shotter suffered a fatal heart attack.
