Former BBC presenter Huw Edwards is set to be sentenced today after pleading guilty to making and receiving indecent images of children. Edwards admitted to having 41 indecent images of children, which were sent to him by another pedophile on WhatsApp. These images included seven category A images, the most serious classification. The case has caused immense pain and suffering, particularly to the mother of a teen who was sent vile sexual messages by Edwards. The images involved children as young as seven. BBC staff have called the scandal 'unending' and the mother of the teen believes Edwards should be locked up.
