A Palestinian contract worker at the Lachish military base near Beit Guvrin, east of Kiryat Gat, attempted to carry out a stabbing attack on Israeli soldiers on Monday morning. The suspect, who worked inside the base, was shot by a non-commissioned officer and is currently in critical condition. The incident occurred at the entrance to the base, and no injuries to Israeli soldiers were reported.
