Meta CEO Zuckerberg Declines to Endorse Trump or Biden, Will Not Spend Money in 2024 Election
Jul 19, 2024, 11:57 AM
Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced that he will not endorse either Donald Trump or Joe Biden in the upcoming U.S. presidential elections. This decision marks a departure from his involvement in the 2020 elections, where he spent over $400 million to help finance local elections. Zuckerberg has also stated that he does not plan to be involved in the 2024 election in any way, including not spending money as he did previously. Hans von Spakovsky, a former Federal Election Commission member, commented on the significance of this decision. The announcement was reported by Bloomberg News.
