Sep 29, 2024, 12:11 PM
Denmark has committed nearly $629 million to support Ukraine's defense industry, with $434 million of that amount sourced from frozen Russian assets. This funding will be used to procure weapons and equipment produced by the Ukrainian defense sector. Additionally, Denmark has donated Leopard 1A5DK tanks to Ukraine, which required the reactivation of seasoned Danish military personnel to train Ukrainian tank crews.
