Ukraine is currently facing a massive missile and drone attack from Russian forces, involving a significant deployment of military assets. Reports indicate that 11 Russian Tu-95MS bombers have launched missiles, with additional aircraft including MiG-31K and Tu-22M3 also involved. The attack includes the use of Kalibr cruise missiles from four naval vessels in the Black Sea, Iskander missiles, and ballistic missiles from the Crimea region. Ukrainian air defense systems are actively engaged in repelling the attack, with explosions reported in Kyiv. This attack is one of the largest of the year, with up to 100 Geranium drones participating. Launches were also reported over the Caspian.
