NASA's Europa Clipper to Assess Habitability of Jupiter's Moon, Not Search for Aliens
Oct 14, 2024, 10:30 AM
NASA is preparing to launch the Europa Clipper, a probe designed to assess whether Jupiter's moon Europa has the conditions necessary to support life. The mission, however, will not directly search for life forms or aliens. Instead, it will investigate the moon's environment to determine if it could potentially harbor life. The probe will focus on examining the presumed ocean beneath Europa's icy surface to see if it provides a habitable environment. It will look for the ingredients necessary for life to exist.
