Tether, TRON, and TRM Labs have announced the formation of the T3 Financial Crime Unit (T3 FCU) to combat financial crimes involving Tether's $USDT stablecoin on the TRON blockchain. The initiative aims to address illicit activities associated with the use of USDT, which accounts for nearly 45% of all crypto crime volume on the TRON blockchain, according to a recent TRM Labs report. The collaboration with law enforcement is expected to enhance security and set a new standard for the crypto industry. “Our goal is to create a safer, more secure crypto community, setting a new standard for the industry,” said Justin Sun.
