Israel's Foreign Ministry to Allocate $150 Million for Propaganda Operations in 2025, Boosting Budget Over 20 Times from 2023
Dec 31, 2024, 10:54 AM
Israel's Foreign Ministry is set to allocate an additional $150 million for propaganda operations in 2025, significantly increasing its budget for public diplomacy, known as hasbara in Hebrew. This new funding is over 20 times more than the amount spent in 2023. The initiative is reportedly supported by ELNET, which has previously funded various political figures and advisors in the UK. Since October 7, 2023, the United States has provided more than $22 billion in support to Israel, with estimates indicating that at least $17.9 billion of that funding has been directed towards military operations in 2024.
