Iran's Army Acquires 1,000 Domestically Produced Stealth Drones and New Destroyer
Jan 13, 2025, 06:53 AM
Iran's Army has added 1,000 new domestically produced drones to its combat fleet, enhancing its capabilities with aircraft featuring stealth technology, high explosive power, long-range operation exceeding 2,000 kilometers, and precision targeting. The drones, designed and produced jointly by the Iranian Army and the Ministry of Defense, include strategic, stealth, and anti-fortification models and have autonomous operation without the need for control from start to finish. According to Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, the drones have been delivered to various locations throughout Iran and will bolster border surveillance and long-range missions. The drones' low radar cross-sections enable them to evade detection, increasing the effectiveness of Iran's aerial operations. Additionally, the Army is set to receive a new destroyer, further expanding its naval capabilities.
