Federal Court Approves $4 Million Settlement for Austin ISD Special Education

A federal court has approved a settlement on Wednesday between Disability Rights Texas and Austin Independent School District (ISD) to address the backlog of special education evaluations. As part of the agreement, Austin ISD will create $4 million summer programs for special education students.
