U.S. Intelligence Report: China's H-20 Stealth Bomber to Debut by 2030s with 10,000 km Range, 40 Tons Payload
Dec 20, 2024, 11:55 AM
According to a recent U.S. intelligence report, China's H-20 stealth bomber is unlikely to become operational until the 2030s, contrary to earlier expectations of an imminent debut. The report indicates that the H-20 will have a range exceeding 10,000 kilometers (approximately 6,214 miles) and a payload capacity of 40 tons, enabling it to potentially target critical U.S. military assets in Guam. In addition to the H-20 program, China is concurrently developing a smaller regional stealth bomber, further enhancing its strategic power projection capabilities.
