Russia's FSB Claims UK Documents Show Coordination of Military Escalation and Subversive Policy
Sep 13, 2024, 07:00 AM
Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) has claimed to have obtained documents proving the United Kingdom's key role in coordinating the escalation of the international military-political situation. According to the FSB, London's coordination involves the UK Foreign Office’s Directorate for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, which has been transformed into a special taskforce aimed at delivering a strategic defeat against Russia and influencing the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The FSB alleges that this coordination has been ongoing since the start of the special military operation in Ukraine in February 2022, and it is focused on subversive policy towards Russia and the CIS.
